Currently the Chuhuiv Human Rights Protection Group is implementing the project «Implementation and dissemination of best practices of public partnership and local self-government in the field of combating corruption on the local level».

According to the analysis of judicial practice, the phenomenon of corruption and related processes in Ukraine is still a big problem.

Frequently shows people who are accused of committing offenses under Art. 172-7 Ukraine’s Code on Administrative Violations, are reduced to the fact that the subjects of the tort simply do not understand that allow a conflict of interest in those or other circumstances. We hope that this analytical report will be useful for officials of both public authorities and local self-government bodies and will serve as a useful «guide» for conflict-of-interest issues for those in power.

Regarding the mistakes made by persons who make protocols on administrative offenses under art. 172-7 Ukraine’s Code on Administrative Violations, the following should be noted. Although statistics show a relatively small percentage of cases returned by courts for proper registration and revision in the NSCC or the National Police, authorized to draw up protocols and prepare court cases for cases, individuals still have something to work on. We believe that a combined analysis of typical mistakes of this kind will be useful to the subjects of authority and will help them in improving the quality of their work in identifying and processing cases of administrative offenses related to corruption!
